Metric & Monitor Approval
If you are a workspace admin, you have the ability to require all you workspace editors to request approval before they can create, update or delete monitors. In order to do this, you need to enable a flag in the workspace "settings" tab for editor to require approval for changes to metrics and monitors. You can also assign a notification channel (integration) to send notifications for approval requests and responses.
Note that you cannot enable approvals for monitors alone. Once you enable this setting, a new "Drafts" tab will be seen in the left navigation pane.

Monitor approval highlights
- Monitor approvals are not enabled for auto metrics
- You can create a draft monitor on top of a draft metric. Only one draft monitor can be created on top of a draft metric.
- When a draft monitor is approved while the underlying metric is in draft state, the draft metric also gets approved
- Deleting a draft metric also deletes the draft monitor, if one is present
- When a draft metric is "Rejected" by the admin, the draft monitor's status also moves to "Rejected"
